My personal experiences have begun as early as the age of 6 years old, in my understanding and empathy with regard to therapy and it's processes. Taking studies and instruction from Sutherland Chan, the renowned massage therapy institution, I have started out as a physical therapy assistant in 2006, I've been CMTO certified and registered since September 2009, and received my designation of Certified Infant Massage Teacher in May 2013. First Degree Reiki is also part of my adaptive skill sets.
Through treatment, I am very adamant in teaching/explaining to you, my client, about your personal physical therapy process and the methods being used. I see it as a way to personally empower your energy and involvement, while at the same time also serving as a guideline in case of any further future treatments that may involve other professional parties. My main focus of interest lies in specializing in pre-natal care & assistance and preparing to be a doula - my first delivery was attended Oct. 17th, 2011, I took my ICEA approved Pre-Natal Class Instructor training in November 2012, and I've been certified as a CIMT (Certified Infant Massage Teacher) since May 2013.
My focus of therapy is quite well versed for sports and dance intense physical therapy; also certainly where pre-natal therapy and care is a concern as well.
In addition to my various skills I have even taken the Equine elective while in school - in pursuing ongoing animal care (of which one long-term dream is to eventually have a property and farm to include animal treatment therapy for animals that I hope to rescue and provide sanctuary for).
