Pre-natal Massage - techniques, positioning and draping are adapted to accommodate the expectant mother as her body goes through the changes unique to each trimester. Addresses swollen ankles, sore back, head aches, blood pressure, sciatic pain, immunity, stress and can help with sleep, labour pains, post partum depression and even milk production.
Massage Therapy - in Western culture, when you hear "Massage Therapy", it's Swedish Massage.  A variety of long, gliding strokes, kneading, rhythmic tapping and sometimes gentle vibration or shaking.  I also include assisted stretching, trigger point therapy, connective tissue work, joint play, and some hydrotherapy. Addresses arthritis, fatigue, sports injuries, depression, PTSD, circulatory issues, repetitive strain, scar tissue, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, postural imbalances, sciatica, tendonitis, even constipation!
Pregnancy Massage Workshop for the Birthing Partner - this involves the expectant mother and whoever the birthing partner is, whether it's the biological dad, same sex partner, sibling, aunt, best friend or whoever the birthing partner is of the Mother's choosing.  This is an intensive 90 minute workshop to show the birthing partner what I would normally do for a 60 minute treatment on the mother.  This includes how to apply techniques in a way that is safe for your body and the expectant Mother, how the Mother should be positioned, draping etc.  The extra 30 minutes allow for a learning curve, bathroom break, answer questions, and include some pregnancy, birthing and breast feeding information.

Massage Workshop for two - this is for any two people that would like to learn together, you don't have to be a "couple" to participate!  You can do this with a sibling or friend too, your choice.  The 90 minutes involves me showing each of you what I would normally do for a 30 minute treatment, including draping, positioning, pillowing and how to apply techniques in a safe and effective manner for both of you.  The extra 30 minutes allow for a learning curve, questions and answers, switching which partner is getting and receiving massage and bathroom break if needed.

Infant Massage Workshop - this is for the parent, caregiver and/or sibling.  Each session is 60 minutes, once a week for two - six weeks, depending on the activity level of your baby.  Benefits for the caregiver can include learning of baby's cues, bonding, promotes release of nurturing hormones, promotes release of milk producing hormones in the mother, eye-to-eye contact reduces stress hormones, helps the caregiver feel more confident and competent in caring for baby.  Benefits for baby can include better sleep, awareness and learning of his or her body, enhances neurological development, reduction of stress hormones that may have built up during activity, bonding, aids in weight gain, improved blood circulation, digestion and balance and more!

Office Chair Massage - this is perfect for team building, office morale, AND productivity!  Have deadlines been stressing the employees?  All it takes is a 15 minute chair massage to make a difference!  Imagine how many employees will show up for "massage day"!  Clients are fully clothed for the whole treatment, saving time.  It is suggested that participants wear comfortable clothing for the chair massage, and minimum 10 people must sign up.  Booking at least 48 hours in advance is advisable, to ensure a spot, and to give employees time to fill out the Health History Form, which I will e-mail you.  Free ergonomic assessment of employee workstations, as needed.  Include this as part of your business's Health and Wellness Program!  Insurance receipts available.
